A Proper Update (oh and casting has opened)

Some of you may have seen the short post about exciting news that went up on social media at the beginning of May. You may also have seen the picture of a blackbird that appeared on Wednesday. However, this is news that I have been sitting on since show week of 'Thick as Thieves' back in the second week of April.

I am so very excited to finally be able announce that Everything's Rosie's next play will be 'Blackbird' by David Harrower at South London Theatre on the 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th August 2023.

'Blackbird' was commissioned by the Edinburgh International Festival and was first presented in the King’s Theatre, Edinburgh, on 15 August 2005. The production transferred to the Albery Theatre, London, from 7 February 2006, where it was produced by Michael Edwards and Carole Winter for MJE productions. Fifteen years ago, Una and Ray had a relationship. They haven’t set eyes on each other since. When she suddenly appears at his new place of work, he doesn’t know why she’s there…and it terrifies him. Content warning - explicit discussion of child abuse and sexual relationships with minors.

Tickets will be going on sale soon, and when they do we'll let you know, but for now casting has opened so head over to our casting page to apply for the roles of Una or Ray.
